Rate Explination $100/hr Standard Software Development
This includes any non-Microsoft specific technologies including
HTML, CSS, PHP, Flash, C++ using std, MySQL, OpenGL, Objective-C, Cocoa,
Apache, etc...
$125/hr Microsoft Software Development
These include Microsoft specific technologies including
.NET, C#, Visual Basic (VB), ASP, ASP.NET (aspx), MFC, DirectX, IIS,
SQL Server and COM.
We charge extra to work with Microsoft technologies because Microsoft has a hard time obeying standards.
They are also notorious for renaming things like: LDAP, Active Directory; RSS, Web Feeds; and others. Which means more time we have to spend learing what new things are actually old things.
